In the Pink: Living Beyond Breast Cancer
Nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. About 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer in the course of her lifetime. For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than those for any other cancer, besides lung cancer. Many of us at Everything But Water have been touched by the disease.
We’re pleased to partner with Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national organization dedicated to empowering women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.
LBBC offers free access to accurate, easy-to-understand information, education and support programs to women in all stages of the disease – from newly diagnosed to completed treatment to those living with metastatic cancer. It also assists family members, friends and health care providers.
