Fabric
Care
Swimwear, especially in bright or saturated colors, may release a small amount of dye when new. Rinse your suit in cold water prior to first wear to remove any excess dye — this is a normal occurrence and not a manufacturing defect. With proper care, swimsuits will look beautiful for years. Always hand wash in cold water with a gentle cleaner, never machine wash or dry. Rinse immediately after wear to remove saltwater and chlorine, and avoid extended time in hot tubs or heavily chlorinated pools. Rough surfaces can cause swimwear to pill. Take care to sit on a towel to avoid abrasion on concrete, pool decks, or other textured surfaces. Apply tanning products prior to putting your swimsuit on to prevent staining the fabric.
