Care

  • Hunza G’s signature crinkle stretch fabric requires specific care to maintain its color, elasticity, and texture. Rinse in cool water immediately after every wear, as prolonged exposure to chlorine, salt water, and sunscreen can cause discoloration and loss of elasticity. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle in a fine mesh bag or hand wash separately in cold water. Dry flat in the shade. <br /><br /> Do not soak, bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. Avoid contact with suntan lotions and oils, as well as hot tubs and heated pools treated with chlorine or harsh chemicals. Avoid rough surfaces and jewelry that may snag the fabric; sit on a towel and store away from items that could catch or pull the texture. Lighter shades may appear translucent when wet.

Swimwear, especially in bright or saturated colors, may release a small amount of dye when new. Rinse your suit in cold water prior to first wear to remove any excess dye — this is a normal occurrence and not a manufacturing defect. With proper care, swimsuits will look beautiful for years. Always hand wash in cold water with a gentle cleaner, never machine wash or dry. Rinse immediately after wear to remove saltwater and chlorine, and avoid extended time in hot tubs or heavily chlorinated pools.

Rough surfaces can cause swimwear to pill. Take care to sit on a towel to avoid abrasion on concrete, pool decks, or other textured surfaces. Apply tanning products prior to putting your swimsuit on to prevent staining the fabric.
